Because I live in California I have become allergic to running in the rain... ok maybe not literally allergic, but adverse. Why would I if I don't have to! I am not one of those people who see the rain as the once in a while "great" So Cal opportunity. I see it as the reason I don't live in Seattle anymore. Sloshy socks and running shoes are not my thing... so on this rare rainy So Cal day I hit the treadmill for my "long" weekend run.
An hour and a half on a treadmill is one step away from torture...but Norman helped the time go by. Some of you may already know this, but for those that don't you are in for a treat. Our "fat, lazy" Bulldog thinks he is an athlete like mom and dad. He loves to sleep on the couch like the best of them, but once he hears the beep of the treadmill turning on it's all over. The beep turns him into Norman "the treadmill running dog".
We decided to take a video of our home training zone... our bikes on the traininers for the after hours rides when we can't get on the road, the treadmill (with Norman in action!), and our inspiration wall of past races. Please excuse the mess...this is the real deal... no cleaning and staging the roome before we shared a peek into our lives. What can we say, sometimes life gets a little messy. :)
